Who can book the ticket under VBM:
According to report Indian passport holder can able the Vande Bharat Mission Flight. It's open to all No need to registration required any more with the ambassy.more
Rules of the VBM
i). After arriving at Delhi/Mumbai from International Destination, You should able a pure domestic flight to go to their final destination after clearing the BORDER FORMALITIES (Customs and lmmigrations) at Delhi / Mumbai.
ii) These passengers are required to mendatory COMPLETE QUARANTINE IN DELHI / MUMBAI before traveling onwards to their finaldestination.
iii) Same day connecting flight restricted. Example: VBM Flight AI 126: CHICAGO > DELHI & Onwards AI 473: DELHI > BHUBANESWAR (Not Permited)
However, Passengers arriving in Delhi / Mumbai and are having onward connection on the domestic leg of an international flight under Vande Bharat Mission are permitted as under:
1.Arriving from a Foreign Destination landing at Delhi / Mumbai and going to their final destination in lndia on the same flight/aircraft and clearing BORDER FORMALITIES (Customs and lmmigrations) at the final destination within India.
Example: VBM FLIGHT AI 1102: NEW YORK > MUMBAI > VIA DELHI
NEW YORK > DELHI > VIA MUMBAI
